World of Tanks does twitch drops slightly better with it's contributors. It runs on a 24 hour cycle and you need to watch "x" minutes/hours to get the rewards and with various people streaming you are likely to get the reward. Streaming for 2 hours or less and calling it a day has to be the worst way to go about this.

I get that it's a bonus item, but for people who prefer to have the totality of the game and it's content it's a setback that makes us feel bad.

Please take note and learn from this @Laz Man. Your post on Steam about the livestream is getting nuked into oblivion from negative comments. I appreciate the effort, but perhaps next time give us longer to get the item.

This. After the hat shows under your claimed section, you should be good to go. Apparently the way the fulfillment system works, you have to start any game at least twice (new or existing save).

The hat will show up in your wardrobe menu accessible via your player character menu. Keep in mind you must be wearing any type of head armor for the cosmetic to show up on your character (e.g. primitive headgear).

You got the wrong stream it seems. Austria here, it started at 10pm.

@Laz Man Started the game several times now, accounts are linked, i got the DM on twitch that i got the drop, when clicking on dops it says on twitch i got the drop. When i click on claim on twitch, it gives me an error saying the drop wasn´t claimed.

Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with verification. The link page, which can be accessed in the browser, only states that it worked, but it apparently doesn't forward the activation to Twitch. I found a workaround: Open a new game, activate Twitch integration, and use the redirect with the code I received. Then Twitch is linked.
 
So i finally got it.

There seems to be a bug on twitch. I had to click claim the drop several times until it finally recognized it.

What many probably missed is that you have to link your steam again. Open the DM on twitch. Klick on the link for linking your accounts. Link your steam and twitch (again, i did this already before the stream), then go to your drops (also a link in the DM) and you should see the hat and a claim button, i had to click it like 5 times until it said i claimed it. Then start the the game, exit, start again and it should be here.

I literally just said it was linked.......... No drop is showing.

If an admin of staff member could comment please, is there another way or another time to get this hat? for people who have not received it.
 
That wasn´t directed only to you others missed it also. Just to be sure, did you link your accounts again after watching? I had to do that even though i linked them before the stream.

@Laz Man This was the most complicated drop i ever had btw.

@Kyoji 30mins was needed. I got the DM on twitcfh after 30mins and stopped the stream.

Now obtaining it, was a pain. Had way better experiences in other games. Never had to link my account before and the afterwards agaim. Never had to restart the game twice to get it to work. DIdn´t help either that twitch had an issue and i had to click claim several times after refreshing the page.

If you guys do that again, please try and make it more user friendly.

I already got my reward ingame but the Twitch page still tells me to connect my account. It seems that the status is simply wrong. You can check the connection in your profile under settings -> connections. There should be "7 Days Drops Integration" in the list on the bottom.

Update: I received the hat in-game, but on TTV, after entering the Drops section, I'm constantly being told to click and link my account. I think someone must have just written the website because it's terribly poorly designed when it comes to Drops. Even if you go there and click "Link to Steam," the next time you log in, you can't see whether you're already connected. In my opinion, the best website for claiming Drops on TTV is Rust.

I live in Germany, where the stream started at 10pm local time. That wasn't ideal but it still worked. But I agree that time zones are quite a problem.
I hope that you can also get the drop from other streamers in the future. I guess this was more of a test run for the next streamer weekend.

You have to start the game, then quit it and then start it again. The hat should then be available as a cosmetic for the head.

When I first fired up the software and continued a game it wasn't there, but after starting a new game it was. Back to the original game to continue and it was there. The LazMan advice seems to be "start - exit -start."
