This mod is really fun, no Blood Moons, no traders, wandering hordes can be a handful to a several dozen like this one. I think there was at least 50+

It's a little weird because there isn't a blood oin, but random hordes every 12-24hr game hours. It can be as little as 6 and as many as in the screenshot. All that to say, you can't really predict when they will show up. I have had them show up 3x while I was neck deep in a complex POI and they all have feral sense so you have to either defend from your position or run out into the open and kite them.
