Shotgun Messiah Crate Disappears

I started a new game, and right outside of Rekt's compound was an trailer. I went inside, and in the back was a shotgun messiah crate. After breaking it down with my stone axe, the crate, and surrounding cardboard boxes bounced, and then completely disappeared. I looked under the truck and the crate was nowhere to be found.

Do you know the name of the POI? There are some instances where breaking stuff around something will cause it to fall and be lost. It's safest to loot before you break stuff surrounding the container. I don't know if that's the situation you experienced or not just from your description.

One other possibility is that you are using mods in a 3.0 experimental release and I doubt most, if any, of those were updated to 3.0 yet. It's usually not a good idea to use old mods on a new version of the game until they've been updated. It's quite possible one of those is messing up your game. I'd suggest starting a new game on the same map without any mods installed and see if you still have a problem with that POI.

Thread 'Bug Report: Loot Crate Disappearing inside Truck Bed'

Note from the Submitter:I am submitting this report on behalf of the members of a bug-reporting server that I manage.
When a loot crate located inside a truck bed (cargo bed) is destroyed, the container itself completely vanishes instead of transitioning into a broken/looted state.
 
It is not in a POI. It is just outside of Rekt's compound that the intro quest sent me to. I was able to duplicate it without any mods installed. Is there a place I should send the video to?
