Step into the loop, the trap is triggered and the tree/mechanism snaps taut, get lifted and dangled by one leg until you break yourself free.

Would make a fun base defense for zombies (just have them flail around, then break free after like 5 seconds) AND for POI traps.

that would be a very nice primitive trap. hell even in late game i would uses that!

i could have multiple uses before you have to repair it. probably plant fibber to make the rope
