Severe Glitching – Falling Through Map, Mission Bugged, Missing Terrain PS5 Offline Single Player

Hi team,


I played 7 Days to Die when it first launched on PS5 about 8 months ago and absolutely loved it. It was smooth, stable, and just a solid game experience.


However, I recently returned to the game (now on version 1.4) and the experience has completely changed. The game is full of glitches and it's borderline unplayable. Here's what happened:

• I started a new game and went to do the very first mission from the trader — the Mining Cave quest. When I got to the cave location, half the map was missing and I couldn’t even start the mission.
• I gave up on that and decided to explore a bit. While running down a main road, I suddenly fell through the map into the void.
• I randomly earned the "Dig Deep" trophy and now I’m stuck down there with no way to get out.

This has completely broken the game for me. I don’t remember any of this happening at launch — it used to be such a smooth experience. I’m hoping this is something the devs are aware of and planning to address.
