Someone else suggested this in a similar situation, do this first and see if it helps:

Unplug your console from the power.

Wait 15 minutes.

Plug it back in.

If not:

If the game crashes there is a chance the savegame gets corrupted.
Because the game has modifyable terrain it constantly has to write to the savegame and that incurs some risk for damage when the game gets interrupted suddenly

I don't know much about console, but I heard it has a cloud save. Though if you repeatedly try to start a corrupted savegame the cloud save could as well have been overwritten by the corrupted version. So if you know how to access an older could save, try to load it. If all cloud saves are damaged as well you probably have to start anew.

More info on cloud saves may be in this thread, but its rather technical: https://community.thefunpimps.com/threads/xbox-series-x-stuck-at-initializing-world-screen.41526/

On Xbox go to the game's settings/profile. Delete the reserve/cached space. If you have save game data also listed, select it to delete. You will be presented with an option to delete the data everywhere or just the local console data. Select only the local console data.

Restart the game and see if that helps load a previous save point.

i am not sure what to do because I can’t get to where you are talking about can you show me the steps to get there

When you start the game are you presented with the option to load a saved game or simply start a new one?

If you are allowed to load a previous game, it sounds like that old game is possibly corrupted. You'll need to delete any old saved games you have and any saved "Worlds" associated with that save game. Try this and report back. We gotta get you back out there killin Zeds! 😉

I have done everything but still can’t get in to the game so I will probably have to start a new game again I don’t want to but I can not get my game to load and I am pretty far on that game every thing I have was at a level 6 so I am not happy with this game because every time they update it it seems like I lose my game if that is what is going to happen every time I will be stopping playing this game

Awww, I'm sorry for your frustration. I get it though. I would hate to see you abandon such a wonderful game for some unfortunate technical issues. Because the game is still being "actively" developed, things like this will still happen.

You mentioned you were at around level 6 right? That's still pretty low for leveling up. Why don't you try starting a new game and see how you like it. I personally "love" starting over. It brings with it new opportunities to do things differently than before. Try it out survivor!

Oh I see, you mean Quality 6 gear. Gotcha. Yea, that's indeed painful when you work that hard to obtain that quality gear and then lose it.

After going through similar experiences myself I can say, at least for me, you learn to not miss it once you see how relatively easier it gets to get that gear back over time. There are folks here who have restarted their playthroughs hundreds of times. Not from glitches or corrupted saves, but just from a desire to restart again and try a different approach.

In fact, the nature of how the game is designed encourages that. I say give it a try. Would hate to see you go and miss out on a great gaming experience. I absolutely love this game. As you play it, just always keep in mind you're playing or participating in an experimental project, not a finished product. Do that and I think you'll have much more fun. 😃
