I created a public server and my friends cant find it on the sever list it is not password protected and I tried several times to restart the server and had them close and reopen the game to refresh the server list. I want anyone to be able to find the serer on the list and not have to join through IP or from their friends list. Is the server list only for paid servers or what is the issue?

From memory, I believe the server list is organized into dedicated and peer-to-peer server categories. Servers aren’t excluded from the list per se, but the issue probably comes down to search criteria. Clients trying to join should check the different icons at the top.
