I swapped broadband providers a few days ago and since then I can't get my dedi to post to the server list.
I have 29600-29602 forwarded in the router to an internal firewall (PF Sense lab segmentation) and that has a NAT rule that forwards it to the actual server. I have packet capture from PF Sense that shows it's sending out, and the replies from Valve's server so that traffic is getting through to the server:
172.16.3.2.26902 > 162.254.196.67.27018: [udp sum ok] UDP, length 84
11:51:38.961585 00:0c:29:50:c2:42 > 00:0c:29:7d:43:7e, ethertype IPv4 (0x0800), length 78: (tos 0x0, ttl 121, id 5794, offset 0, flags [DF], proto UDP (17), length 64)
162.254.196.67.27018 > 172.16.3.2.26902: [udp sum ok] UDP, length 36
11:51:47.560844 00:0c:29:7d:43:7e > 00:0c:29:50:c2:42, ethertype IPv4 (0x0800), length 126: (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 8928, offset 0, flags [DF], proto UDP (17), length 112)
I can confirm the NAT rule works as well, as loading up 7 days I can put in the PF Sense IP and it does connect.
I have a second server that hosts NWNEE and that one posts just fine (yeah, different but it works) whereas 7 Days just won't.
I don't quite know what's going on, everything seems right, but it's just not playing ball. Anyone have any ideas that might work?
