Server Issues Following Hackers

Hey everyone

The server I play on has had some trouble with hackers recently. We have managed to ban the hackers but since they have been around the server just hasn't been working properly and the admins are saying when they load up the code they just get a load of error messages.

They are doing a full reinstall of the game now to see if that fixes the issues. Failing that is there anything else they can do to fix it?

We've done a complete wipe several times. I think the server owner has rolled it back a couple of months now

I would need you to post the actual error log in order to help. Bluntly put the amount of information you have given me is

1. Hackers joined an unknown server

2. Now the admins are deleting stuff trying to fix an unknown problem

If you can post a copy of the server logs that appear on startup i may be able to help but without more information not much i can do.

To be fair, they can do it with EAC also. EAC only reduces your chances of it happening by about 40%.

The only way to keep your server truly safe these days is to keep it password protected, and only allow access to people you know.

But we digress. Logs man. need logs.
