Server crashes after having it online all day.

I have been playing completely unmoded with my family and friends, there are 6 of us in total, and I'm running a server on a Windows 10 machine.  We do not have EAC enabled on the machine, nor am I running telnet or the http console.

It seems to run fine until around 10-12 hours of online play, then we get a crash.  It happened last night and then again tonight.

I thuoght maybe it might be a memory leak or overheating, so I was monitoring the server all day today while we were playing, and the motherboard stayed at a constant 26C (It's water cooled)

I have a threadripper with 32 GB's of RAM.  I was looking at the output file, but didn't see a whole lot there to troubleshoot.

Also it seems like it will run fine after starting back up.  Our bikes/vehicles are scattered into the wind depending if we were riding them or not.

Yesterday we were having a bunch of crashes because one of my brothers planted about a thousand trees, and they were growing all at the same time, which seemed to crash the server.  We just chopped them down and that crash completely stopped.

I noticed I couldn't attach text files, so I reply in the thread with the output_log_dedi file.

It looks like the tree glitch was never fixed. Try not to plant too many trees.

I also recommend restarting the server at least once every 6 hours.

It's an application crash, so there should be a corresponding entry in your Event Viewer under Windows/Applications or
Windows/System. Check at the time the dedi crashed and post that error message here.
Another thing to check is if the swapfile is managed by windows, which it should be.

Yes, there was an application error log, here are the results:

Also, correct that the swap file is managed by windows, although the PC has enough memory that I could completely turn the swap off if that will help the situation.  The most memory I recall it ever using yesterday was 8 GB.

Yeah, we took note of the tree glitch issue.  I'm not sure it's so much a tree glitch as the database just can't handle that many changes to it's table all at once without completely going belly up.

I did notice though, that there were errors related to trees when chopping them down.  I don't remember the exact error, but it was along the lines of "the object has fallen through the world".

Is there a way to automate restarting the 7 days server every 6 hours?  I can set a scheduled task to start it, but is there some sort of setting I can add to shut itself down every 6 hours so I don't have to do it manually?

Try turning off XMP, or lowering your ram speed in your bios. Start by setting to an officially supprted speed for your cpu. If you still have issues go one step lower.image.png

Thank you, I'll give this a try, we're going to be playing again this weekend, I'll let everyone know how it went.  I have the supported amount of RAM according to the QVL for ASRock, and I'm not overclocking at all.  I can step the RAM down and see if that makes a difference.  But I'll try the XMP config first.

I think I found the issue.  I just slammed an old nvidia video card in there because it's what I had, and apparently the motherboard didn't have integrated video.  I updated the NVidia driver (because I just kept it Windows default installation) and haven't had a crash since.  Doesn't make since why I would need that on a video-less server, but that's what seemed to have fixed it.
