PC Saved games ?

Hello, I have been playing A16.4 for ages with no problem. Decided to give A17 a go but it kept crashing every 5/15 minutes. After a few sessions like this I have tried to go back to A16 and wait for a stable A17 to drop. The problem i'm having is that my game now runs slowly and with a judder. I have tried changing the graphics settings but it's not helped. My question is.....if I uninstall and reinstall the game will I lose my saved games from my PC ??

 
That would solve it and no, steam will ask you if you wish to keep your saved files. If you wish, your saved games are in C:\Users\(your windows name)\AppData\7 days to die. AppData is hidden on default, so just type it in in the address bar.

 
Thanks. I backed up my files just to be on the safe side. The reinstall sorted out the problems I was having and it left my saved files intact. Thanks for the info...

 
Youre welcome. Don't forget there's a file verification, too. But it sounded like you needed a full reinstall anyway.
