"You don’t even feel like you’re surviving a zombie apocalypse anymore, and there’s no atmosphere left.
This is so lame."

Game need more apocalypse feeling, Hopeless atmosphere like.
He want to say like movie experience, example: 28 days later.
My suggestion :
・Add Random Event for no bored
・Add Random day / night running zombies for find players (Option)
・Add Getting chased non infected humans / animals from zombies, animals
・Add Infected monkeys
・Add Realistic Rotten foods
・Add Random zombie speed option
・Add Random clean/ half infected survival groups (for future update)
・Add Random 50%-80% infected human but not yet symptoms zombies.
They call player "Help" but infected, when 100% infected, attack players.

If someone is suggesting Project Zomboid as an alternative, they want a completely different game from this one. That's a very different game, regardless of it being a zombie game. I won't even play it because it's absolutely not what I want, but I've played this for a LOT of hours. People have different opinions on what is good or bad. This game, or any other, can never satisfy everyone. Besides, that post doesn't even give any actual feedback about the game. It doesn't list anything specific that is "wrong" with the game. It's just someone wanting to write garbage.

This game has a roadmap of what is coming. Anything not on the roadmap has a very low chance of being added. The game is in the last stages of development before being completely finished. It is unlikely that major changes that aren't already mentioned will happen. It's just too late for that.

Yes, PZ are another completely different games. I agree.

But 246 people agree this comment...
So Game need more apocalypse feeling, Hopeless atmosphere like movies.
That screen shot was got from 28 days later, weeks later

246 is a very small number. And considering most people who like a game do not write reviews or comment on reviews others write, it's hard to see the full picture of what people like or don't like. I don't know exact numbers, but let's estimate that 80% of all players do not write reviews or leave comments about games whether they like them or not. So you already are missing out on knowing what the vast majority of players think. Next, let's estimate that 80% of players who don't like something will comment on it or write a review. And only 30% of players who do like something will write a review or comment on it because most are just playing the game and enjoying it. That skews what you see when reading reviews about a game. It's far more likely to have negative reviews even if the majority of people like the game. Add in that more than half of players probably don't care one way or another about any given topic, and you just have no good way to know what most players really think.

Now, my numbers are guesses and I am not saying they are accurate. However, I think the overall skew of the numbers is accurate.

In any case, yes... many players do want the game to be how it was in version X.X. For some, that's A16, for others A17, for others some other version. And many also prefer the game as it is today. In almost all cases (probably all), each player has things they really like and things they really don't like. Based on which has more impact on them, they decide whether or not they like the game. This game is a tongue-in-cheek satire of the horror genre. That isn't likely to ever change. It isn't as gritty as other games, and that also will likely never change. They are going to add a lot of new game options (around 50, from what they said), that can let players adjust things to have it be more or less sandbox. Some of those may help to make the game feel more survival oriented. Wait until you see what options are added and see what you think at that point.

And you really don't need to copy someone else's review of a game in order to give your own opinion. It doesn't matter what anyone else says. Especially someone who didn't even give any real feedback or say even one thing they didn't like. The closest was to say it wasn't a zombie survival game, which is a pretty dumb statement. A main gameplay element is surviving against the zombie horde. If they want to say it isn't a survival game, then that is different. This game is a mix of many genres of games and as such is going to be a "lite" version of each. It will never be only a survival game or only a RPG game or only a tower defense game, etc. Anyone looking for this game to be only one genre isn't going to be happy because it isn't only one genre and was never intended to be only one genre.

-There are already random days where zombies look for you, i've even had a pack of 7 zombie dogs that tried to attack me for no reason while I was at the trader.
-The game is based in Arizona, wild/native monkeys don't live there.
-I'm sure rotten food would pis people off when their food gets rotten after a short time (due to no refrigeration).
-You can already change the zombie speeds, I like em slow and dumb, just like the ones on Night of the Living Dead. I've died so many times already even though they're slow on warrior difficulty.

There is no random running zombies in outside, in situation currently always only found after found players, fond meats.

I already do it :)

Want to say, I want feel more random element like Real life, and RimWorld.
The ingame elements are almost Passive, I want feel active event.

・Zombies fighting over each other's flesh
・Emerging from the ground
・Zombies running endlessly, just to find meat ( Found Low Random % )
・Flies lay eggs on zombies,
・Set the house on fire when fail cook, cook over wood tile. Fire extinguisher and water can Firefighting.

It's been there for a long time. I used to eat it often.

I heard Spam was made from pig intestines, and I meant how spam was made, not the sandwich itself.
Actually alot of it is pork butt.

Tbh spam isn't really that bad I've seen people make it and its not really a mystery meat. Would I eat it often? No too much salt.

But even if they used intestine (which is used for sausages) then oh well

Im more of a Hobo stew guy

'You don’t even feel like you are surviving a zombie apocalypse anymore, and there is no atmosphere left' that’s what the game options are for. Many people complain that the game is too easy. Maybe the number of books spoils the fun of playing, but the game is definitely not easy, nor does it lack atmosphere.
