Windows Roads in the horizon are missing

Hi. Love the game. I'm running 2.1 (b10) but has never noticed this problem before.
Very often the roads in the distance don't load properly until I get much closer, making look like it ends in a hole or crevice.
I have noticed that same missing floor structure while some buildings are closer to the horizon, making it looks like it's floating. It all loads properly when I approach.
Then thing is I'm running Windows 11 pro with a 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF (3.00 GHz), 64,0 GB ram an a Nvidia 4090. That should be plenty not to be having this issue.
Also using the Nvidia Geforce recommended settings for 7 days to die (mostly 4k, with ultra settings).
Should the map behave this way? I don't remember having this problem before in 1.4 or even 2.0.

I just decreased the view distance from high to medium and it had no effect on the issue. The road cannot be viewed up to about the same point as when it was set to high. I tried decreasing all the way to low and it had no effect whatsoever. 7DTD-video3.png

I just updated to 2.2 stable, no mods, with the recommended Nvidia Gefore Experience settings and the issue persists. It's very annoying.
Can someone offer any insight?

I would start by turn down some your ultra settings to high and see if it's any better.

Hi, thanks for your input.
I turned it all dow to low, even reduced the resolution to 1080p and I'm still getting the thing. I will post here. Here it is in low settings:7DTD-video5.png
When I get near you can see that a decent chunk of terrain is missing, as if it was a hole there. It is the same in low or ultra settings. With or without DLSS or with upscaler off.

This looks similar to the deco/car pop-in issue on Nvidia cards. Pretty sure it's something to do with Nvidia drivers not playing nice with Unity.

Sorry to spam the thread.
Upon further testing, this does not happen (as far as I could observe) in the navezgane map. That is perhaps why I belived it was not happening in 2.0, because I was playing navezgane.
I'm inclined to believe it it has something to do with the map being big (10K or 8K, don't recall now). I have to test with smaller maps now. But thanks Space4Ace and SylenThunder for the replies!

While there may or may not have been found what or where the problem lies, I do have 2 questions.

How much RAM in on the card?

While you have an impressive 64GB installed on the machine, they are not used for anything related to graphics.

What is your rendering distance?

Having your rendering distance set to "near", will trigger your machine to only give you outlayers, when it comes to what is 200 meters away.
But keep in mind, increasing it, also increases the toll on your hardware.

And running a 10k map, should not really pose any real issue. Especially if it is single player.

A thing nobody ever suggests, but something you, and everybodt else should consider, is a full harddisk wipe, with a fresh windows install. That way, you can get rid of all sorts of unwanted junk on your PC. And yes, i know, you dont have junk on your PC. But try it anyway. -that means formatting your windows drive, not just the reset to factory crap.

Also, remember to google it, because you will need a thumbdrive with software on it, for a clean install.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to help!
The video card has 24GB.

View distance is set to High and LOD is set to 100%. Those settings I have tried to mess with before, but things kind of stay the same way.
Since I play single player I don't have many stutter issues, save when Im in the middle of a huge town cruising with the motocycle.
The thing you suggest is worth trying, but I think I may have changed my steam default folder for a secondary drive, an SSD one, with 500GB.
Maybe If I transfer back the game to the main NVMe, what do you think Cruiser?
