A simple riding mower to cut grass with, could have a bag to collect fibers and flowers and could use lawnmower blades as a stand alone weapon.
i didnt even think about it being an attachment, thats a good idea toThere is a Skid Steer mod that works pretty well for this but I agree TFP should add something to their game whether it is a stand alone mower or an attachment for the minibike or jeep
For me it's more about cleaning up around my base, a nice even lawn so to speak. Easier to see crawlers, spiders, snakes and chickens. A more efficient device would be nicer than walking back and forth for a half hour stabbing grass with my knife.I admit there would be cases where I would ride a riding lawn mower in game, if perhaps I didn't have a minibike, for instance.
I'm having trouble why you would want to harvest a lot of grass. I mean, I do for a cigar recipe and I do burn grass in campfires sometimes when cooking (if I have it and just need a couple of extra seconds of burn time).
What's the case that makes harvesting a lot of grass desirable enough to add the feature? Is there something I could be crafting that I don't know about?

for sure more about getting the grass out of the way more than harvesting it, harvesting it would just be like a little bonus action of it.That's interesting. So it is more about terrain preparation than harvesting.
When building a base I can see wanting to clear an area too, plus raising the terrain blocks to their full height. Folks currently do that by placing a frame and then picking it up.

I think it would be best served early game, when most are starting their bases, i feel like your a bit hung up on it being more than just a tool, thats all im really imagining it being, just a another utility tool to terraform the terrain around you, so early game, cheap build, doesnt use much gas, i would put it more in the category of the auger or chainsawIn terms of the technology to make a riding lawnmower, it seems like more than a bicycle. Do you see it being something a player could assemble around the same time they could make a minibike? Earlier? Later?
I mean, I can see a niche for a riding lawn mower. For instance, if it were revealed at the same time as the minibike, was slower or didn't have the sprint feature, but had one more row of cargo, but was complete crap in hill/mountain terrain, I could see it.

even something like a manual push mower would work, just something not to have to punch grass for an hour lol. That's a fair point. I was looking at it as a vehicle. Gasoline tools don't seem like early game technology to me. If that's your target then I would be thinking something more like one of those unpowered manual push mowers, where the blades spin because you're making the wheels move. I think that makes it more on par with a wrench.
Pretty sure Glock 9 has been using a riding lawnmower mod since his "farmer glock" seriesThere is a Skid Steer mod that works pretty well for this but I agree TFP should add something to their game whether it is a stand alone mower or an attachment for the minibike or jeep
