Hi Guys, so I got one of these quests for supplies at a house. From what I understand you have to activate the marker then search loot containers within the green tick zone looking for it?

Day 3 and I'm kiting what has become an impossible number of zombies around the house emptying everything in sight. Only things I can't pop are a locked safe and shotgun messiah crate.

Is it likely to be in there? Would really suck if it is, I'm out of daylight and have to head back abandoning the quest.

 
Most of the satchels I have found have been behind false walls (which are noticeable as a loose board) or in an open cabinet (that took a while to find, interrupted by a wandering horde).

If you can, kill the zombies you’re kiting and then take the time to look carefully at your surroundings. Good luck!

 
Would also point out, for places like the single floor houses and the like (thinking of the one that's basically a meth lab, etc), for me those have been spawning back near the rear quarter of the house. Can walk around to the back, knock out the wall where the indicator tells you that you're within like 1M, and it'll be usually in a room with 2 pills and a couple other things to grab. Dont know if that's 100%, but so far it's worked out.

 
Look at the distance counter to the target. It counts down to within 3m of the target, and the yellow guide on your compas will also guide you toward it's location (it's not like the old buried treasure quests where the location was left vague). If you can narrow it down to a wall / a room / a floor, then you're 99% there. Just got to be very observant. Look up, destroy stuff to look within or beneath. Keep an open mind - it might be the garage outside, or be on the roof.

A lot of the attic ones require crouching in order to see around an obstacle hiding the satchel.

Wonky wallpaper or floorboards are also a clue to carefully examine.
