in the v1.0 version of the game it seems resource nodes are less plentiful and are biome locked. I've rolled a few maps and  it seems there is no coal in the desert biome. i know in past builds there was a small chance to find any node in any biome but it seems more like a hard lock now. anyone else seeing this?

Coal hasn't been found in the desert since at least A19. It's shale instead. Has been for a few years now.

 
From A17. There is only shale and no coal in the desert. The remaining binomials contain coal and no shale.
