I've been a big proponent of that, I didn't see anything about them buffing the XP for it, but I will say that the balance seems pretty good. I have noticed myself actually leveling up now when harvesting stone/iron in the mine, and resources from the surface boulders.I'm the guy that will spend 100 hours hitting rocks and enjoying it. You do get XP no doubt, but you could be mining for an hour and get the same XP of killing one zombie.I've been a big proponent of that, I didn't see anything about them buffing the XP for it, but I will say that the balance seems pretty good. I'm leveled up to around 80 now, I generally get about 1000xp/minute when constantly hitting stone. Perked up and XP is now coming quick. level 5 steel pickaxe with dye and bunker buster, 4/5 miner 69er, never lose stamina with regular swing and takes 2 shots to per rock break now. I can now harvest around 6k stone per 2 in game hours. It's not actually that bad now. Not a fan that the perks are behind level gates, but still manageable now imo.You do get XP no doubt, but you could be mining for an hour and get the same XP of killing one zombie.
You can't give quite the same XP for breaking a boulder as you can for a zombie because you can constantly mine but you can't constantly kill zombies. It would get OP very quickly. Balancing this is tricky and I don't envy TFP.You do get XP no doubt, but you could be mining for an hour and get the same XP of killing one zombie.
