Request for a 7th Difficulty Level

TFP, I'd very much like to have a difficulty level harder than Insane Difficulty. I guess you can call it 'Masochist' Difficulty. I think player dealing 40% and taking 350% would be appropriate.
Perhaps adding zombies always in Rage Mode as well?

I've mastered Insane / Nightmare / Feral Sense / No Trader and I'd like the option to go harder than Insane

I guess you missed the part where the blindfold isn't included for when you want to play the 7th difficulty.... ;)

Generate a map with no cities or towns, only wilderness poi's. This make it so there's no traders and you'll have to travel and search out each poi while having your settings on the highest you like.

Well, I already play without traders by removing them from spawning, having wilderness only would limit the possible loot in the world drastically

Hence, making it more difficult and challenging, as you wanted.

Once your character reaches a certain level and you have all the good gear it doesn't matter how hard they make a zombie. You'll be able to survive. BUT can you survive the way you like to play when all that shiny loot that makes you feel like a god isn't in easy reach? Can you actually survive hardcore with no cities or towns?

Or have you tried the Darkness Falls Mod. It's an overhaul mod that has opened up the portals to that 7 Level of Hell Difficulty your looking for. It's got new creatures added that make lose sleep at night. Different types of weapons I think you could have fun with. Check it out if you haven't already. Good luck & I hope you find the difficulty you want. :)

In survived on charred meat and boiled water in my latest No Hit challenge (don't get hit at all) and I avoided a lot of POIs, I went into the middle of the city and had a lot on zombies chasing me. In the wilderness I think it would be easier with less zombies. I could eventually craft Q5 with my skill points.

Short answer, I think yes, because less zombies and very few sleepers and Rad's will only show up during horde night

So prove it...haha :)

I'm going to try wilderness POIs only, myself, as that sound interesting but probably only warrior difficulty for me.
Well, I have proof of getting 647 kills before taking a single hit. (streamed the whole thing)
I think doing wilderness only will be easier.

I've done wilderness only back in A18 and I removed all POIs, so the only loot was nests, trash and zombie bags.

Have you tried a Romero run with limited ammo?

If I ever had enough time, I'd like to take a stab at a Romero/TWD mod.  I have seen a few out there but not sure if exactly what I'm looking for.

High level Game Objectives / Gameplay Loop

1) Survive

2) Clear Infested Areas

3) Start Settlement in Cleared Area

4) NPCs move into Settlement

5) Do quests for NPC to expand settlement

6) Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each biome.

Core Changes to Game:

1) No traders

2) Large Wandering Hordes

3) Increased Biome spawns

4) Ability to block all zombie spawn types within the cleared / settlement area.

5) Limited ammo and weapons in the world.

6) Weapons are unrepairable

7) Building is limited to settlement area only.

I played the Romero mod in A19 and got bored real quick (even in wasteland only) because walking zombies is a cakewalk for me since I play nightmare speed

I play Insane / Nightmare / Feral Sense / No Traders / Permadeath

I'm curious to try primitive items only and no skill points on top of that

greate idea i was thinking about it as well but not in your way wich u suggest to increase even more dmg from zombies and their toughness. Cause whats its actualy changing to difficulty gameplay wise? basicaly nothing. u do same things as before just only now need to hit them more time wasting more "boring" hours of gameplay.

Instead i was thinking about something that can be added to zombies that would change our strotegy about how to even approach fight with them. For example increasing theyr running speed even farther so they now could run faster then the player. With that we no longer could fight endless amount of zombies in the open just running around them till we got our staminas back. Now its probably gonna be only 2-3 zombies max. And if u HAVE to fight them in open - then u SHOULD'v create at least some structures for u to play around. Even tho this one change already feel enaugh to change the game and fun to play around, i was still filling not satisfied but not invented some any new interesting ways or mechanics to add for zombies or create some new interesting zombies with new mechanics. idk. still thinking more ideas to this day till i create new topic about this 🙂 .

It is already possible for zombies to run faster than the player, I've had a business man enter super rage and I even had a point in deep cuts, and the zombie was able to outrun me with the 10% movement speed debuff from the bleeding. Now if all zombies were as fast as the biker and business man, then it would make it harder for sure.

If zombies were to always be in super rage, then sure, it would be harder. Even so, I still want a 7th difficulty :)
