Good day.

I've been trying to get in touch for several weeks, but for weeks I've been ignored (email, Discord, contact points, etc.). I've tried a lot.

What happened that made me want a refund?

Well, it's quite simple! I play on PlayStation 5. I've also played over 200 hours, and with the previous console version, I'm at over 300 hours!

Before the "Storms Brewing" update for 7 Days to Die, there was the option to invert the camera vertically and horizontally. After the update, the vertical camera inversion is suddenly missing! For whatever reason, there's no explanation or other explanation as to why this option was REMOVED, and it doesn't make any sense.

After weeks of being ignored by FunPimps and other supporters, I think it's understandable that you're frustrated and annoyed.
That's why I recently adopted a somewhat harsher tone, and whoosh, a response came right away!
In which I was clearly informed that my problem is "my problem" and that basically nobody cares!

I'd like to invite anyone who feels the same way to turn on vertical inversion in the options and play that way! If this were the default, there would be a huge outcry!!!

Therefore, I ask you to put yourselves in my shoes: after 300 hours of play and an update that I've been waiting for for months, I get the shock that this update makes the game unplayable.
I think it's understandable that I'm disappointed and a bit annoyed and want a refund.

Being treated like that is difficult!!!

So I've brought the matter to my lawyer's attention, and he's looking into possible legal action.

My primary concern is to draw attention to the issue.
All other threats in the forum or on Discord have been ignored.
When I request a refund, I seem to be getting answers, even helpful ones.

All I'm concerned about is that FunPimps simply makes their game accessible.
So, simply reinstall the horizontal and vertical camera inversion option.

Certain keywords get you attention.
And yes, there are various alleged contact emails online, which I contacted out of sheer desperation.
I also contacted Sony via similar contact emails, without success.
Honestly, where else are you supposed to get information when you're constantly ignored? It's incredibly difficult not to be able to play your favorite game after work.

Invert Vertical Look is there when I check. Maybe you could take a picture of your options screen for controller and post it here?
 
Yes, that's it, unfortunately.

As I said, I had already searched endlessly for contact email addresses.
So I asked if it might be available later with an update. I asked on Discord (German and English) whether they also noticed that it was missing (it could be a bug in the PS5 version update), but unfortunately, all without a response.

Sorry again for using that stupid keyword.

And sorry for breaking my promise not to post here anymore.
 
These kinds of posts are kind of over the top, don't you think? You've made a SINGLE post about your problem and suddenly you want a refund and claim (I doubt it was anything more than a lie) that you contacted a lawyer just because no one has responded? Most people on this forum are not playing on PS5 and so don't know the answers for you. Most don't even look in the support forum. Those who are on the support forum and might be able to help are doing so voluntarily and don't always have a lot of time to try to help, especially if the post has very little information provided. If you don't get a reply after one post, then post again in your thread after a few days or a week. It's that easy.

Perhaps the translation has been a bit of confusion. OPs original post talked about horizontal inversion, not vertical.

Hello.
I play on the PS5, and since the "Storms Brewing" update, the horizontal camera inversion has been removed.

I haven't received a response.
So, here's a question for clarification: What's so bad about horizontal AND vertical camera inversion that FunPimps has to remove it with an update, and questions about it are ignored?

I did indeed inform a lawyer, but with the context that this has happened to me several times with Sony, where games don't provide any information about camera inversion before purchase. I want to check if there's a legal recourse.

And at some point, you just run out of patience.

I'm currently re-downloading the game in the hope that there was a download bug or an update.

I doubt it, though. :-/
