I've been seeing multiple collapsing POI when starting quests in 2.5 that I hadn't seen in previous versions. This one happened when I started it tonight. I watched it slowly collapsing, and the collapse caused the person playing the game with me (I hosted) to get disconnected. Below are two screenshots. I had to shrink the second because the forum didn't like the size, but it's still clear enough. The pictures show the final result after the collapse finished. The are focused on the loot room building.
How it happened:
I started the quest and then opened the door to the guard house next to the quest flag to kill the cop. I managed to miss some hits and the cop was green and managed to blow up on me just about where the flag was. It was immediately after that when I saw the POI collapsing. It is *possible* that the collapse started when the cop exploded, but I don't think it is likely. It was already collapsed quite a bit when I turned after the cop exploded, so I am pretty sure it started immediately upon quest reset.
I've attached the log. It was attached shortly after the collapse finished, so the collapse happened right near the bottom of the log, making it easy to see if anything stands out. There are some mods installed, but I think it's unlikely those are related. The problem is that you can't really reproduce this in any reliable way, so I can't just remove mods to test. I'd have to remove them and play for hours until *maybe* I find a POI that collapses. Not seeing a collapsed POI wouldn't prove it's related to a mod as I've only seen maybe 4 or 5 of these since 2.5 went stable and have done a LOT of POI during that time. Note that one of those other times was also Red Mesa, though the collapse was only on the silo side of the loot room building that time.
It is possible that this has something to do with chunks not loading quickly enough on a POI that is on multiple chunks and that causes stability problems, though that's just a guess.

- Reproduction Steps
- Nothing reliable. Start a quest and see if the POI collapses when it resets for the quest. The percent that I've seen collapsing on quest start is very low, so it's not easy to reproduce.
