Hey, some of us are just waiting for excuses to make posts! ... kinda like me. Sad? yeeahh...

Not too happy about any of the changes there myself, the red "BUY OUR DLC!" seems the least of the issues. But it still reminds me of the sad state of "gaming" every time I see it.

The other two? "Connecting to discord" .. I'm pretty sure I told it not to, yet it does. Can't find the settings to tell it again. I don't Want to link my steam to my disc, and I won't.. Will this do it? I have no idea. Will it use a "generic" account to generate chats for my SP games? I have no idea.

The worst is the ads page; the resource hogging got improved in this patch, so at least it's less of a slideshow now, but it still seems unnecessary. One google-deal later and we'll be getting 3-15 mins of ads while "loading the game"?

Same and definitely told it not to. Will have to check if a bug report has been made.

It does look bad. I would rather they do the DLC as a call-out on the side of the menu like a lot of games these days do than to have it in the menu with such a jarring color.

The settings for Discord are under Audio in the main menu. If you turn it off you will no longer see the connecting to Discord.

A call-out would actually be more visible that that red button. In case it isn't clear what I mean by that, it is where they put a graphic and text on the lower corner of the menu screen telling you about DLC or updates. It is very visible, but doesn't look bad.

I noticed that the Discord tab is visible only when "Communication with Other Players" is enabled under General Settings. If you turn that off, Discord tab disappears.

That I can agree with. Haha. I've already moved the Quit button back underneath the DLC button.
