Really high ping with 1000-250k players in multiplayer

We have noticed that in multiplayer the host has a good ping of 80ms, but the non-host has at worst 1000-250k ping in multiplayer. This problem did not exist in the alpha 19 version. We have tested our own internet, which we have verified to be good, and we all have a ping of 16-29ms.Näyttökuva_20221030_181926.pngScreenshot_171.png

 
I believe ping that high is often associated with antivirus/windows defender/etc.

It is not sufficient to turn those off. you need to whitelist 7dtd with anything you have installed, whether turned on or off.

I believe both you and your friend need to do this.

You need to exclude the game and save folders from your anti-virus. For Windows Defender that would look like this:

Run tracert and post results. If the highest ping listed is first or last, the problem is something on the computers slowing down your connection. If you aren't familiar with tracert, run the command prompt as administrator. Type tracert 'ip of server' so an example would be tracert 150.2.2.113.
