Ravenhearst Mod

First, THANK YOU for restoring my will to play 7d2d. A17 vanilla sucks and you saved me here, thank you again.

But... There might be a bug with the Iron Crossbow. I't doesnt reload automatically. And when I press R to reload it reloads 2 bolts... And gets stuck in "aim mode". Intentional or bug?

 
Oh. one other thing... The whispering Z's sucks hard... In a really good way. Scared the crap out of me first time and still does. Nice thing to keep me on the edge at all times.

 
BUG - When planting seeds. You cannot plant then next to each other, or you will delete your plant.
Odd, mine are growing fine.

Although originally all mine died. Make sure they are next to water or they will die like my first crop did!

The killer posses someone and when he's killed he just possess another person.

Everytime I run into one of those whispering zombies I worry that killing it won't stop it...

This sounds normal. The iron crossbow holds 2 bolts and should auto-reload on the 3rd trigger pull.

On a related note, the repeater crossbow holds 5 bolts and is truly epic...

Have a question .. I'm having issues with quest not updating as they should .. To start with .. I took the Bow Learning Quest .. made another bow .. which I had already done 1 for the First survival quest line .. but later I was checking the quest logs and noticed that wood bow did not update .. still showing 1 of 2 .. but all the KILLS Counted .. now I'm working iron bow and that did update .. So I'm thinking there might be some bugs on the quest you made for game ..

Also .. somewhere it should SAY .. you have to watch jerky being made to get points and quest complete (did that one twice) .. ON quest that WE must watch being done ** IT should say so somewhere **

Other than these couple issues .. enjoying the game. .. Thank You .. the Old Gamer … :02.47-tranquillity:

So, The hosting information is for a locally hosted system. Has anyone managed to get this running on a Dedicated host service yet? My issue is "Copy over the EXE" which no company I use will allow. If i throw this on the Linux system, all that happens is a string of access violation errors, and no logging... Which has left me frustrated.

I don't disagree, but yes you must watch the item being crafted to receive credit for crafting the item. I think this is due to the base game though as all the mods I've tried work in this manner. I don't think crafting stations track who queue items.

 
So I updated my 7d2d and installed the newest RH but now all I get is the black screen after the Fun Pimps logo. Is RH not compatible with the current 7d2d vanilla? If so what am I doing wrong? LOL

Edit: Well after looking through back posts I found a post stating that RH only worked with 17.1 so it seem that the game loads now that I reverted to 17.1. Out of curiosity are their plans to update the mod to work with 17.2?

I'm not 100% certain but I think you need to use the Big Forge to make glass jars.

Jax - wanna throw out a thought.....would it make sense to be able to make twine from a tailer station? Food for thought. ;-)

Thanks. That explains it. Just felt a bit strange. And I think I will have to take a look at that movie

I run this without issue on a couple of different dedicated servers, although I use TCAdmin, or just Windows directly. If you're in need of a running server, DM me and maybe I can just host something for you: I have about a half rack of dedis sitting around with nothing on them at the moment anyway.

I followed the quest line yesterday; went to the locations indicated and placed a surveyor then moved onto the next location. When reaching the last location and placing the last surveyor I believe I had to dig 3-4 down until I found the dino skull. The process is very similar to treasure hunting but with a much smaller radius.
Thanks so VERY much MasterFuji. The artifact quest of finding one artifact was the only quest out of the five that I haven't done, and had no luck in getting handled; but I see there is another artifact quest line that I may have to do first. Thanks so much for your guidance...it gives me a direction to shoot in!

Howdy again, just finished the Thumper mission and have a few comments. I'll try my best not to drop any hardcore spoilers:

1) The [REDACTED] that appears (the thing you have to upgrade to advance the quest) always spawns slightly damaged, and there is no way to repair it to full in order to actually upgrade it. I wonder if there's anything that can be done to help with this, or if it's intended.

2) The [REDACTED] that you get after the mission has no localization/stats/information so there is no way to know where it stands with other things you own.

3) The music and effects were badass. Totally awesome mission.

Anyway, still lovin this mod. Hope all is well on your end.
