Ravenhearst Mod

Well i checked 3 different seeds and couldnt find desert biome, im wondering if it might have changed color, what has inside, etc? anyone can confirm this?.
Mayor concern is oil shale, if i cant find desert (not saying there isnt one) how to get the oil shale for later use with the minibike?

Any chance a mod can give us an insight about it?

I don't think there IS oil shale anymore. At least it's not listed in biome ores on Rh discord.

Ores have changed in Ravenhearst. Below is a list of what ore you can get from where.

Snow = Potassium

Burnt = Coal and Fertilizer

Desert = Oil

Forests = Iron

Plains = Lead

Wastelands = Copper, Zinc and more chances of finding Diamonds

Coal, Potassium, Rock Salt, Limestone and Carbon can be mined from breaking underground rocks with a Pickaxe. Keep in mind the better your Pickaxe the better your chances of find these minerals. So an Iron pickaxe is better at harvesting them than a Stone Pickaxe."

Which version are you using? I think latest version fixed a glitch with deserts in an earlier version.

Ok got it, i think the server still has 4.0

So i think we gonna have to update and wipe :(

You'll find the latest version on either ModLauncher or JaxTeller's official site which is https://ravenhearst.enjin.com

Worth noting that I can only find V4 changes in discord or site above as FullPatchNotes.txt was carried over from V3, nothing pertains to V4 in the included notes.

 
I found Mayonnaise and Ground Pepper, but there are no recipes that I can craft from that. Am I missing something?

Interesting, there is no recipe for either and simply looks like they forgot to add it. For now, just store it until its added come the next big update.

 
Bug or intended.

Was walking a good bit away from the radiated zone (eyes distance but never close) and at some point radiation set in.

I still wasn't in the red zone and a good bit away.

Needless to say I died in a non radiated zone.

I keep getting POI chunk disappearance. i can see them from a distance and when I come close they are gone.

Don't think I can walk inside the POI area as my char might be obliterated.

Restarting the server doesn't help, should I delete the .map server side? Or wiil that F up everything?

Had the same issue on RH3.5

I have only found 1 trader in 4 cities, which seems strange to me.

Yeah Sinda I see, had assumed that file was just a copy but on checking it I found FullPatchNotes in Extra Files was slightly older by 2 versions hence relying on what Jax posts on Discord to be right up-to-date :)

And for those wondering, you can extract buffs.xml 'RH_Disabled_Weather_Version_Files' to disable the temperature effects - why, because vanilla its madness I tell you ;)

Little note on this Sinda and yes this is tedious to mention, generally I'd prefer if files like this didn't have its own folder as global advise is to extract to the main game folder with the game executable. Ie, once you click to see the 'Data' folder your address bar now shows: \Extra Files\RH_Disabled_Weather_Version_Files.zip\RH_Disabled_Weather_Version_Files\ < it only needs to contain the subfolder Data to extract to avoid potential confusion.

Also BB Code has a maximum width and using
spacer.png
tags doesn't allow you to set custom width height as its a site setting, even if you used ie imgur and set preview to small the site will override this.

 
ok question is anyone else havin issue with zombies not spawning in buildings ?? as we can lot the talk book store and not one z in it and my zombies are set to 80 on server plus on horde night we had 36 total on whole map and there was like 11 players on not sure what is goin on

 
Just for info, I have no issues with zombies spawning in Single Player and I have desert biome (had it in both 4.0.0 and 4.0.2). Single Player version seems fine.

 
My bee hives dont work. :( If i right click on them with a bee it says "Item needs repairs or is missing parts", if I left click on them with a bee nothing happens. If I right click them with a tool (like a stone axe/taz's axe, wrench, claw hammer etc) it gives me the bee icon with a cross next to it in the lower right and makes the error noise corresponding to not having the correct material in my inventory, irrespective of if I have bees in either the task bar or the bag area of my inventory.

I hope Im just missing something obvious.

Current version seems to be 4.0.1 but 4.0.2 has been mentioned. What is with the naming convention? There must be three versions of 4.0.1.

Dirty on day one without checking one body? Getting killed on day one by a green skirt fast zombie before I even have a weapon?

Where is the info? How do I get un-dirty? Soapy towel needed on day one?

Currently I am stuck on "Upgrade House Door 1." Does that mean I need to make a door? Upgrade a door? Neither worked. Why is everything so obtuse?

upgrading was possible for us, but after more than 14 ingame days (28 real life hours) still no lootable beehive (the same goes for the animal traps, baited but will not catch anything. btw rain catcher works)

Don't know, but how many bees do ya have ? I Got my to work with 10 in Inventory and a Clawhammer to put them in. Also works (Stonehammer + Wrench) not Work is (Taza Axe). After The Bee Is in, ya have to wait a couple of (Hours / Days)... don't know how long.
