Elevators are one direction only. That's what hay bales are for. See the Skyline Diner tower as an example.
Yeah, skyline is the tower we’re in. We went to a city long enough that sleepers respawned and they destroyed the hatch “elevator “ to a point it wasn’t usable without significant repairs. As an experiment, we tried the elevators as a secondary option. We assumed that they were one way after messing with them a bit. Thanks for the clarification though.

 
You should be using land claim block to pick up your stations.

I completely forget about land claim blocks.

I just wanted to move base and didn't want to waste a bunch of twine building new cooking/drying stations.

Now I know.

 
Hi,

so much to say about this mod.but just ..like it.....

Today i recogniced, that u can open the map while on bike...great.....

And few hours later i tested if i can check anything else on the ride. As i hit "c" for character screeen, not my game crashed, no my pc..i had must to turn power off to restart it. Dont know if that just happend to me or if it is a real big bug.

The burning stations freaked me out first time i saw it....i thought one of those stupid burning babies was in my house lol
Scary..I remember problems with blacksmithstation science reavenheart 1.0

And i got the flames science today too

new edit: tested that minibike issue again. All kinds of things u wish in vanilla seems to work fine. Just tested all again: map, inventar, quest, skills and at least charakter.....even at charakter no issue these time., dunno what happened before

well, i can do it...thoutht it is cause reavenhearst..maybe the 3.1.2?

...was a good loot run today, found not he missing "bock vol for bikes", but the missing parts: "thing u place on ground" and a seat )

opening map on the mini bike was new with 3.0, believe it was in the release notes, or in the about page on the discord

re burning stations: seems to be on MP if you don't burn something in them before leaving the area or logging out, the ever-burn happens. can try picking it up and placing it back down, and then smelting something again to fix it.

 
Installed this mod (from mod launcher) for the first time today but running into this error:

excellent howto guide for the mod launcher sinda!

The only thing I'd change is the last line in the image,

"allow the mod launcher to auto update when used"

should be

"allow the mod launcher to auto update when starting the mod from steam"

otherwise, it's absolutely clear! :smile-new:

 
Does anyone know if since the update Crack a Books have been removed? We have been to a few cities and in the previous versions found them in a strip mall area. Currently we have not found any for days.

They definately still exist. Just not in every city.

ran thru 12+ cities with no crack a book and found only 2 working stiffs, i know it supposed to hard but this is ridiculous. oh and that strip mall is just as scarce

Are Night Vision Goggles purposely broken in this mod? These weren't a thing when I last played this game in Vanilla mode
Another question to add to that one;

Do we need Calipers do make bullets? We have the station, but according to the official wiki, the Calipers were removed in v16. Was it kept for the mod? If so, I assume it's a very rare find/trader buy?

Can confirm calipers can be looted. Just found a pair today. I found it in one of the New York style mixed shop and apartment blocks with the cab in the back and the ladders on the front. I only realized I got them when I was on my way home, so I don't know which container had them. I'm sure they were no zombie drop though.

Ironically I found a crack a book about 10 minutes later in a city north of my location. Fairly large in size and on the corner of a block on the edge of town. Early on I found a small strip mall in the town we’re working from but have not located another yet. Unfortunately it takes an i game day or more and inventory fills fast so have not viewed every building in the cities yet. I want to fire up a truck so I can use it to haul loot from the longer runs.

We do need to find more schematics now because of doing the high end quests. Still not enough to build mini bikes even though we have the materials so I’m continuing my city search’s. I am loving these massive cities though. Seldom have to leave because there’s so much available.

YES .. Forget the Wiki for Mods like this .. first off ... Mods change so much.

You Need at least 2 Calipers and a couple Tool & Die Sets

Advanced Workstation .. uses 1 Caliper and 1 Chisel

Ammunition Workstation .. uses 1 Caliber and 1 Tool & Die Set

Advanced Forge .. uses 1 Tool & Die Set and 1 blank mold (that you make)

Blacksmith Station .. uses 1 smithing hammer and 1 blank mold

SO far that is all I have made .... but also looking for Calipers .. Bought _ Tool & Die sets at Trader for like 4700.00 I think

PS: Nightvision goggles are a thing .. depending on there level is how good they are, but they don't work well with fog ... they are still in game.
