Randomly started having issues launching 7 days on Steam

I bought and downloaded the game last week.

I have been playing it since then with no issues. This morning, out of the blue, it just stopped launching. It would start to launch and then just crash.

I have done the following troubleshooting techniques:
-reset Steam
-verified the integrity of game files

-restarted computer

-checked for computer updates

-uninstalled and reinstalled 7 Days

None of these have worked. I was able to launch another Steam game just fine.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
