Randomised Horde Night Modifiers

An option for horde nights to be affected by a random modifier. This could be all sorts of things, but some simple ideas off the top of my head:

  • Electrical output set to zero for this horde night
  • All zombies explode like cops when wounded
Probably a bit trickier to implement would be things like:
  • Normal zombie AI is replaced with 'path to within 5m horizontally (ignore vertical separation) of the player then go into destroy area mode'
  • Zombie Jump Height/Range increased
The idea is to make horde nights markedly different and present different challenges, moving away from a simple set of base features that solve all horde night problems.
 
I like the concept, but both of the random things you proposed I would absolutely hate. The first would render all my traps useless (and I have zero interest in playing a horde night without traps...I refused to buy the game for years until they added electrical traps) and the second would absolutely trash a base (mostly concerned about the repair time.)

Funny, I don't use traps at all during bloodmoon. Just 4 steel walls, 4 blocks high, 2 blocks thick around my base, picking off zombies one by one with my rifle and shotgun, while on the wall.
