PC Random hidden chemistry stations. What are they for?

I keep finding random chem stations stashed in hidden-loot spots (like behind pictures etc)

What are these for? Are they usable for some purpose or can I harvest certain itms from them?

Was wondering what those were going to be, as in a17 b240 they just kinda seemed... there and a wasted opportunity. Good to know they eventually probally turn into some med/chemical supply containers eventually.

They work as of 17.1 but they are super fragile. I've broken almost as many as I've looted...lol
