PC Random Gen world large town always wasteland

I'm having an issue where every single time I create a random generation world the middle of the map is always a wasteland biome, which means that the largest town in the map is a wasteland biome, and the first trader it sends me to is in the wasteland biome, and I know this may seem a small and stupid complaint but I just personally don't like it. The first time it happened I just shrugged it off and thought, "oh I'll just make a new world" and yet every single time I make a new world it's the same thing. Is there any way to fix this or is it something I'm stuck with.

I'd have to dust off my PS4 to check, but I don't recall RWG working like that offhand.  Maybe bad luck?  Are you using different seeds?

Just in case anyone else comes to these forums searching this topic instead of Reddit, this is by design, RandomGen maps purposefully have the big city in the wasteland. Lore-wise it makes sense, that was the epicenter of the Z-outbreak. You can get a mod on Nexus to change this.

There is a link to the mod in the Reddit post below (which is called MoreBiomeCities, there is another, better one called: PGz Massive Cities v1) which also confirms this is by design.

**Edit: I know this is a little late for the OP (a whole two months), but it is still a question that comes up in other forums, and people have mentioned this one unanswered thread being here (comes up in a Google search), so, better to enter accurate information here, even if it is late, since people do still see it. (Also added the 2nd map-mod, sorry forum mods, not trying to overload you with edits!)
