PC "Things I learned from watching the streamers" -- **SPOILER ALERT**

So with no FOV slider option anymore I've heard it's still doable with a console command. Anyone happen to know that command?

I'm a little concerned about clay and also farming.

It's not only difficult to be able to hoe and finally plant crops,

you can't pick your crops now. You have to punch them.

I guess it slows down farming and makes getting too much food harder.

So... I can embrace that in time.

What about clay?

From what I read, there's no more clay in the ground?

You get a little of it from digging dirt. [At least that's how I read it.]

How the hell do we forge?

You want me to dig up 50k useless dirt to get a few handfuls of clay?

Meh.... guess I'll have to wait to confirm this.

It will be something I mod immediately if that's the case!!

It used to be sg OptionsFieldOfView <value>, but that was a while back.

Watched TomGirlGamer play and every "garbage bag" had 2 candy tins and 2 panes of glass. Every car had 6 shotgun shells and 2 fishing weights... and tons of feathers. In maybe 10 minutes she had over 240 feathers, 3 flashlights, machete, hunting rifle...
Very easy to tell when zombies died, especially because it shows durability if you hit them again when they're dead.
A Tier 2 Machete and a Tier 2 Compound bow! She had the highest kill count of any streamer on day one! She died day 1.

In other news:

-Cage848 had the highest death count on day 1, but he had a higher difficulty level set (Three times). (I will play on normal difficulty my first game now!)

-Games4Kick had the most succesfull start IMO.

I thought he did a great job all around!

A few Streamers did pretty well.

I was happy with it and thought TFP made the right choice supporting Streamers.

I guess his ark survival serious is dead in the water now....

From watching streamers tonight, it seems team work in multiplayer is more important now than ever. Also wheel crafting is bugged.

Quests are bugged

For the first time ever, I can agree that MP is stronger than SP. More accurately, a team that explores together (even just two people) can be much stronger than the lone wolf player.

You can tell the devs were watching the streamers and the modders. The new skill system seems to be based on observations from how much the old system was useless. I see aspects of war of the walkers class system, as well as refinement from the last system.

I was not impressed with the spikes at first, but after seeing them in action again tonight, i have changed my mind. they at least are super fatal to players.

I like the weapon mods, especially how the dyes increase damage.

Pipebombs are now very useful, as you can toss them into a room in a poi and clear out multiple zobs.

One of the big problems that players have is that they think they know the game and the items and do not look at item stats. At all. This will fix itself over time as new players (who are actually new to the game) do look at item stats.
Yup, every gaming pro that streamed, has died!

How to die:

-Underestimate the quest POI's.

-Ignore vultures.

-Don't have a lot and bandages on your belt.

-Fight when injured.

-over inflated ego (bragger)

-thick headed (doesnt look before leaping)

I don't want to brag... wait... let me stop lying.

I didn't die until day 6 playing the experimental with Dianddra and Space4Ace.

Game was set to defaults.

Maybe I was just lucky? Or using them for bait?

I recorded it so I'll upload it once the game is released.

But you DID die right?

And there were three of you so....

..six days divided by three equals what again?

I died horribly. On the evening of day 6 I hadn't been watching the time and was caught outside when 22:00 came. I pillared up a poi that happened to have about 745 zombies in it. It was pitch black, I couldn't see, so I involuntarily decided to provide them a nice meal.

At the point of my first death, the other players had like 15 or more deaths between them, so I'd survived longer than any of them, and longer than any of the other streamers that I saw.

But yes, I still died.
