PC "It burns down" What?

During horde night, the horde knocked over a tree, which may or may not be incidental.

My husband caught a message saying "it burns down" on the screen just as it faded away. He has no idea if there was something preceeding it, but neither of us have ever seen a message like that.

What in the world was that?

 
I've had an unknown message show up on my screen while playing 7D2D about a year ago. I can't remember what it said, but it didn't make sense to me.

I was thinking maybe it was actually coming from Steam and it was an overlay. I don't keep friends on Steam except for my daughters and step-daughters... so I have no idea. Perhaps there was some system mixup and the message was sent to the wrong steam player id.

I don't know. All I know is that it was kinda creepy.

ohhhh, that would make total sense. Thanks! That one just really threw us for a loop. We were like "♥♥♥♥, did they add fire spread and we missed it in the patch notes??"
