PC Question on Wiring

Has anyone figured out how to allow two motion sensors to control garage doors yet?

I am wanting to have a motion sensor to control my garage doors for when I go to leave or return so they auto open and auto close. I had it wired up to go off the sensors but it only allows me to connect one sensor to the doors so I am only able to auto open either coming or going, but not both.

Anyone know of a way to fix this or are we stuck waiting for the Fun Pimps to add that function into the game?

Passthrough triggering, as in connect the cameras one after another:

Power source - camera 1 - camera 2 - door

that wouldn't require both to get activated to make the doors open? I thought that if you did that then it would still stop the signal before it got to the doors if only one was triggered?

Sorry if that is a stupid question. Just getting into electricity so still trying to figure all this out.

Yeah, not a stupid question, that's the intuitive reaction.. :) But no, the trigger signal is indeed passed through the second camera - it's great for your purpose, but it has its drawbacks of course ...

ITs absolutely not stupid, it stumps quite a few of us when we first try to set it up because it is not very intuitive.

So welcome to the club.

I covered that in my powered doors/hatches/drawbridge guide.

Essentially signal passthrough from A16, --> trigger --> trigger --> door/hatch/drawbridge. A trigger can be a motion sensor, trigger plate or trip wire (not a switch).

Very straight forward.

:)
