PC Question about Trader quests

In the current 1.2 version, can Trader give a quest that might be in another biome when in my game I do tier 2 quests for 7 pages and now a couple of pages are just tier 2 buried supllies and still haven't given a quest that would be in another biome or is it so Trader rekt only gives quests that are only in pine forest.

Are you using Mods?  I only ask, because I don't recognize "Camp Carwhal" as a vanilla POI.   Is it a RWG or is it Navesgane?

Have you completed the Trader Special Missions?  I don't believe that restricts quest progression or type, but it could.
 

It appears that you have Tier 6 quests unlocked already.  By artificially restricting yourself to Tier 2 quests you will get Tier 2 POIs nearest the particular Trader you are questing for.  It may be a quirk (RWG or Mod) that there are no Tier 2 POIs near the Trader you are questing for.

 
I have seen people say that quests are only in the biome the trader is in, but that hasn't been my experience.  Of course, I don't use RWG or pregen, but that shouldn't matter.

But the game tries not to give you repeat quests, so if you are redoing tier 2 over and over at the same trader, that may be the reason.  Or, as was said above, you may have a mod causing it.  Go to a different trader or do some other tier quests instead.

Xbox series S. RWG maps. 

I have also been sent to another biome. I'd have to fire up a pre gen again to be 100% but, I am pretty sure that for tier 5 and 6 POI's I got sent to the wasteland and winter biome (I was living in the desert at the time because I had the gyro)

I have had the experience of being sent to the same 4 POI's living in the first biome.

Yeah, looks like your quest system is refusing to repeat the quests you've already done within range, and can only offer burieds now. Dunno if that's a bug.

In case you just want to get onwards with biome progression, and are a bit lost there: Rekt is the first trader you run into; he'll give a Special Quest to travel-to-burnt forest / Trader Jen after you've completed your Tier 1:s. So, long ago. He won't give you a travel-to-desert, Jen will give you that; that's the step from "trader two" to "trader three".

So, if you're looking for the quest to go to desert, go see Jen. She might even have other Tier 2:s in case you want a few more ... :D

Camp Carwhal is a vanilla POI and I don't use mods

As I recall, Alpha 21.2 Trader can give more tier 2 quests that were located in the desert, snow biome and wasteland.

Well, no. Mine have given me, for example, quests from Rekt at forest to snow biome. They've been higher tier, but I don't think there's an intentional difference.

It doesn't.  That's the point.  We are saying that we do get quests in other biomes.  I did mention that some people have said it is only in the same biome, but at least the two of us have had a different experience.  As has been mentioned, the game is probably just not wanting to give you repeat quests since you've done a very large number of tier 2 quests.  Start doing tier 3 (or higher) or go to another town if you want to keep doing tier 2 for some reason, and you should be fine.

I did the crack book 01 quest in the burnt forest and after that I took the tier 3 open quest.
