Question about modded 7dtd vs vanilla

ok heres my question. I have vanilla 7dtd, so i make a copy of it, lets call it modded 7dtd, how is it that when i make a world in the modded 7dtd it will show up on vanilla 7dtd?

Because you are using the same default user's folder for game saves. If you want to use several different modded games of 7DTD, I think it is better to use "-UserDataFolder=" additional command to set different folders for mods itself and for the game saves and worlds.

AFAIK UserDataFolder does only work with dedicated servers. The whole serverconfig file is ignored if you start a game client.

Two easy solutions: Use different user-accounts for the modded and unmodded game. Or simply use descriptive names for the worlds so you know it is used for vanilla or the modded game. I usually also add the games version number to any savegame I create
