Hey everyone, I've been playing for a couple years now and have never really played around with farming, but with my recent game I've gathered a bunch of seeds and am looking into messing with it. My question is once I plant some of my seeds and they grow, do I get seeds back or do I have to continuously find more seeds ? Or do I just plant the seed, harvest the crop and another one begins to grow ? I know with trees you plant the seed, the tree grows, and then you can chop the tree down and get the wood and another seed, but I'm not entirely sure how it works with crops. Thanks in advance for any info !

Use a hoe to get the dirt ready for planting. If you have fertilizer you get more of what you planted. You should get at least two new seeds after you let the plant fully grow. So you should only need to find 1 seed to make as many as you need. Fertilizer gives you more like 5 corn seeds if you plant 1 corn seed versus 3 corn seeds without fertilizer. Might be off by 1 or so with those numbers. It has been a while since I grew food.

This is correct. I said you get seeds, but you get the finished items that you turn back into seeds. You still only need 1 seed to make as many as you need.
