Question about dedicated servers

Was curious if dedicated servers are working for consoles? We tried paying for a dedicated server in the summer when storms brewing first came out but couldn't get ut work.Me and my friends love to play it just sucks the host person has to be on for all of us to play. We would love for any of us to be able to sign on whenever we want on ps5 or x box without a host person

Yes, they work with consoles as long as they are set up correctly (not using settings that consoles can't use and not using mods).
