PC Question about Death Trauma and Debuffs...

Since the NEAR DEATH TRAUMA debuff, I'm having a few issues. I know that NDT reduced some stats by highlighting them in red. However, when the NDT has counted down to zero and been removed, the reduction in the stats still seems to - in some (seemingly random) instances, remain in place, often even after the player has been alive for hours of real time. It simply doesnt seem to "reset" and remove the debuff.

Any help on this please?

 
Are you sure your character doesn't have any other debuffs like "cold", which only lowers strength and fortitude for example?
