QOTW: If you could have any new feature in the game what would it be?

Here is this QOTW: If you could have any new feature in the game what would it be?

For me it would be some sort of husbandry/farming/fishing. Having livestock would be a key element to any survival game. We already have the ability to build amazing bases, so imagine having farm animals and more crops. This has been on my wishlist for 7 Days for Die for so long.

More realistic elements/mechanics in general, update for animations and weapon models, "husbandry/farming/fishing as u said", workstation class code supporting fuel/gas/electricity consumtion, update for electricity, water pump stations and water wheel, plumbing mechanic, most POIs covered in IVy, electrical devices in POIs connected to generators with limited fuel, less dungeon style POIs, more turrets/traps, tesla trap, update for animal AI and much more

PARKOUR (like in Dying Light).

They could add grab points to most blocks and allow us to climb buildings.
They could upgrade the current Parkour skill so that you can only do that if you invest in that skill.

To balance that, they should also allow some zombies (ferals?) to be able to climb too maybe.

More melee weapon categories.

There's been the same 6 for so many years, and the only "big" thing they added "recently" was giving Sledgehammers a perk book series.

I'll harp to no end the fantasy of a progression-unlocked stations-pull-from-containers system (something set up as a parallel to the current wiring-flow mechanics, or even how Scrap Mechanic uses physical pipe attachments), and The Descent's underground POI system looks pretty fantastic from all perspectives except performance - but a new feature I'd like to see explored is some sort of a progression system for traders.

Maybe the more Buried Supplies and Fetches you do, the condition of that trader's compound improves and unlocks things- like restoring one or a couple of their broken workstations, opening access to non-craftable resources or workstations, opening access to trader inventory and/or vending machines (which I'd like to see disabled outside of trader compounds, honestly), bringing in NPCs who stay in the trader compound and offer different/unique quests, and so forth. Might be tricky to balance, but I think it's got good potential, especially if it's something that gives significant benefit without doing "too much" to minimize other aspects; easy way to do that would make harder-biome traders gain access to better things, so Rekt can't be expanded into a super-trader king of the wastelands. [Edit-add: Would it be possible to 'instance' this to parties, so the effects aren't global? Maaan, the more I think about it, this seems more difficult-to-impossible...]

On the less-development-intensive side of new-feature wants, more quest types could bring a lot of variety - especially late-tier things that would benefit from perks that lose their luster quickly, like Treasure Hunter or Lockpicking if they had something new to make them worthwhile.

I like the farming and fishing idea, however I would like the ability to restart / fix the cars littering the roads. The 4x4 is awful in its current form.

husbandry/farming/fishing.
I think those three things would be great, and I’d add mobile bases like a caravan.

Also, improve map generation so that maps aren’t so similar and POIs don’t repeat as often, and so that cities and towns can be generated near the sea or beaches.

More craftable decorations and paints <at least for single-player if performance doesn’t allow it>

Its really hard so say

I would like longer progression and more Findable loot like tools and weapons that fit in with the world Prebuilt items vs your Makeshift items

Better combat skills like IzPrebuilt mod were weapons are under category like BLUNT, BLADE AND PUNCTURE.

more zombies that more on the mutated sides rather then fantasy. Almost like dead island or dying light

More wildlife that fit with Arizona

and harsher survival. As much as I would like it to be greenhell levels of hard im sure not alot of people would like it.

I'd like some improvements to electricity like a simple grid mechanic where you can connect all kind of sources as many as you want (or performance allows) and consumers of all kind at the other end.

Fire. I know that it can be enabled and enhanced with mods, but having vanilla include fire as an option would be great. Maybe a sandbox switch for spreadable fire that consumes flammable items, spreads and can be started with molotovs, explosions and so forth. Make the world a more dangerous place!
