Mod Request PvP Damage Balance Mod (Server-Side)

Is this a modification request?

Hello everyone :D,

I'm running a 7 Days to Die server and I'm looking for a mod that specifically rebalances PvP damage to allow for more prolonged fights and reaction time, similar to how it works in games like Counter-Strike.

Currently, PvP combat in 7D2D often feels like "one-shot, one-kill" scenarios, especially with higher-tier weapons and gear. This makes PvP less engaging and more frustrating, as there's little opportunity for tactical play or defensive maneuvers.

My main goal is to reduce player-to-player damage scaling, making it a slower progression. This would allow for:
  • More sustained firefights.
  • Players to react, heal, and reposition during combat.
  • Skill and strategy to play a larger role than just who shoots first.
Crucially, this mod MUST ONLY affect PvP damage. I want the PvE experience (damage to zombies, animals, and structures) to remain completely unchanged from the vanilla game.

Key features I'm looking for:
  • Server-Side Only: The mod should be installed only on the server, not requiring players to download anything.
  • Reduced Player-to-Player Damage Scale: The core of the request. This could be achieved by:
    • A global multiplier for damage dealt to players by players.
    • Increased player health specifically for PvP encounters (e.g., players gain a "PvP HP Pool" that is larger than their PvE HP).
    • A more complex system that scales damage based on weapon type, armor, or even player level in PvP scenarios.
  • No Impact on PvE: Absolutely no changes to damage against zombies, animals, or blocks.

I've searched for existing solutions, including the "PVP Balancing Pack," but unfortunately, they appear to be outdated.

If any talented modders out there are interested in taking on this challenge, or if you know of an existing mod that already does this effectively for the latest version, please let me know!

Thank you for your time and consideration.
