PS5/Xbox save data size issue.

Yesterday I noticed that the "Used" and "Selected" bar were not the same with only one current save. "Selected" is only half of the "Used and in saves management there are no other worlds or player profiles.

Also, my PS5 has an internal SSD of 4TB. Any chance the game can take advantage of this? Or build in an option for consoles to save worlds on external drives?

Edit: I deleted the old saves, only let the current save exist.

Consoles have a hardware limit imposed by the console makers that limits games to only so much storage space - regardless if it is the only game you have installed and how much space you have on your drives.
This hardware limit is same as on PC: The ammount of money you spend on it. PS5 has an internal SSD slot wich can support up to 8TB with the currend firmware. Xbox might be a bit more limmited but still has options. There is also the possibility of utulizing external drives. For PSN there is also the option of cloudsaves, this is limmited to 100GB.

Problem solved, there was a pregen world without players that did not show up in the list "continue game" but only at the last page in the "manage saves" menu. It was called "Holy fluff", is that a remmenant of devs testing?

Hi! I love this game 100% and i play in ps5 but I have two games at the same time running but every game used 345 mb or more i archive the games for trie to begging a new one and I don’t have the space for start one is imposible. For star a new game i need to erased one or two game save file and I don’t want that. Just need the fun pimps help us with update adding more space for save more game files. I hope fun pimps reed this petition and helps us soon!!

I play on Xbox series S. If you turn down chunk persistance to it's lowest setting when creating the game... this will allow you to have room for 3-4 save files.

- PS5 one GB Limit Bug for "Data Mangement" / saved games fixed?

In the new "7 days to die" Version V.1.2(b27) for Playstation 5 there is a fixed limit of 500 MB - 1000 MB for "7dtd Data Mangement" (german "7dtd Datenverwaltung"), all saved games and random world data!

Is there a bug fix in progress to increase the PS5 limit for 7dtd saved games and worlds to several GB or for example to 35 GB?

Without a bug fix and with the limit of 500 MB - 1000 MB for all saved games and worlds on the PS5 still existing there is no intense longer playing of 7dtd on the PS5 possible :(

The save size limit isn't a bug, it's a restriction both Sony and MS have on games. Believe me we would increase it if we could.

Thank you for the information ! :( With the PS5 limitation only one random world is possible. Before playing a new world, you must delete the old one :(.

(That limits all future games on the PS5 with many changing data, until Sony changes it. Very bad for the Playstation game world!)

Only if you save at maximum chunk size and not archive inactive worlds. Use the file management to see how much you can gain.
You should be able to have 3 or worlds archived while playing 1 world at medium chunk save size.

You're welcome. I have a personal suspicion that it might be due to cloud storage, they may not be able to handle much more than 1gb of an update (if a user generates that much data in one session). It's about the only thing that makes sense to me.
