None. Its at modded server but that was only when I tried to manipulate the trader to work. Changed number of quests per day for it to reset.


Summary:
The “Jobs/Quests” option is completely missing from every trader, but only for my player character. Other players on the same world can access trader jobs normally.


Description:
I am the host of a multiplayer world on PS5. Since the beginning of this world, my character has never had the Jobs/Quests option when talking to any trader. The trader dialogue only shows Buy, Sell, and Nevermind.


The issue only affects my player. Both of my friends can access trader jobs normally on the exact same world and from the same traders.


My character can still join quests started by other players, complete the objectives, receive rewards, XP, and quest progression without any problems. The only thing I cannot do is start trader quests myself because the Jobs/Quests option never appears.


At one point, the “Opening Trade Routes” quest suddenly appeared after I had already been playing for some time. I completed it and travelled to Trader Jen, but the Jobs/Quests option was still missing afterwards.


Steps to Reproduce:


  1. Create a multiplayer world on PS5 (I am the host).
  2. Invite other players.
  3. My player never receives the Jobs/Quests option from any trader.
  4. Other players on the same world can access trader jobs normally.

Unfortunately, I cannot determine exactly what caused the issue, as it has existed since the beginning of this save.


Expected Result:
The trader dialogue should include the Jobs/Quests option for my player, just like it does for the other players on the server.


Actual Result:
The trader dialogue only displays Buy, Sell, and Nevermind. The Jobs/Quests option is completely missing from every trader for my player only.


Troubleshooting Already Attempted:


  • Restarted the game multiple times.
  • Restarted the world.
  • Switched between Multiplayer and Single Player.
  • Visited multiple traders.
  • Completed the “Opening Trade Routes” quest.
  • Waited through multiple real-life days and game sessions.
  • Verified that other players can still access trader jobs.

None of these steps resolved the issue.

  • The problem affects only my player profile.
  • Screenshots attached showing that my trader dialogue only contains Buy, Sell, and Nevermind, while other players have the Jobs/Quests option.

If this is a known issue, I would appreciate any workaround that could repair the affected player save, as I have invested many hours into this world. My username is kragthemachine.

Yeah, there are mistakes in the post... console can't use experimental (they are obviously on stable), and they said they hosted the game on PS5 but that it was a "modded server." Consoles can't host any mods and whether or not you consider a host in P2P to be a server (there is a significant difference), there isn't any modding that can happen. Changing sandbox settings isn't modding.

Still, it was clear enough to know what the problem was and that it's related to the bug that was linked. That's what is important.
