PS PS5 problem loading game.

Played the game a couple days ago. Got on to play today and had to update. After the update I’m unable to access my world. Is this due to the update? The old save says “V1.4, but when I go into manage saves it shows a V2.0.I have over 300 hours on this world and would like to continue it. If there is a way to update it to play it I’d appreciate someone telling me how. But if there is no way then this is very disappointing.

You cannot pay a 1.4 save in 2.0. This was mentioned multiple times leading up to 2.0 and was even on the in-game news screen. There are far too many changes to make it compatible. You can expect to need to start a new game for 3.0 and 4.0 as well. This is what happens when playing a game that is still being developed. Minor updates like 2.1 shouldn't require a new game.

A: V2.0 Storms Brewing is currently experimental. While experimental, it is only available to PC players that opt into the experimental build. Once it reaches stable status, everyone on PC and consoles will download it automatically. So you won’t need to do anything special to get it.

Q: Can I continue my V1.4 game on V2.0?
A: No. With V2.0 installed, you will not be able to play any saved games started on V1.0-V1.4.

Q: After I update to V2.0, can I return to V1.4 to continue my V1.4 game...
