PC PS4: Did they fix the “duplicate” glitch

I had a buddy join my world and duplicate my wood for me so I could make a huge fortrsss using wood frames (duplicated some ammo for me to).

All you had to do was

I tried this again just now to give a random some guns and ammo but he could not get into the box (it was unlocked). I’m assuming they fixed this glitch? Am I late? Have been playing for the last week but just tried it tonight for the first time in a while.

Not sure why you need to duplicate items in the first place. You play the game you'll have more then enough. If you want everything right now play on creative mode

Could be due to client de-syncing. Can the other player open Forge or other interface containers? If not then re-connecting to your game might clear it up for a while.

If people want to cheat or play the game half ■■■ why not just play cheat/creative mode?

how do you figure that?

the biggest complaint from people hit by a terrain reset is all the wasted time. someone who losses duplicated items will likely just duplicate some more, sure they may be upset about that small amount of wasted time but not the same as someone who has lost hundreds of hours of work.
