PC Ps4 character reset

Me and my friends have been playing for about 9 months and we are still getting the same old bug that resets our character not everyone gets reset just two out of four of us the host is allways fine we play on navezgane map all settings are default character reset happens every 4 to 6 days if we are not playing this is a game breaking bug that is really spoiling the game what is the point in putting work into this game just to get reset other than this bug it runs fine plz can someone find the cause of this bug plz every update I hope that it fixed but it's still happening after at least 8 updates we have even backed our data up that dose not solve this problem thank you

Thank you for the bug report. I can confirm that team are still working to resolve this issue. Could you possibly describe what happens before your character is wiped? We appreciate any and all information we can get on each issue.

This happened to me last week in someone else's world. I had been playing in his worth for like a month off and on.

I was trying to pvp him eventually so all I know for settings is that it's on survival 60 min days.

I tried to join in right when the game crashed for him. I didn't even get in. It said sorry you couldn't connect. He reset his world an when I got back in I lost everything. Back to day one. No skills. No bed. My base was still there, but it said it wasn't mine anymore. Tried backing out and rejoining.

I think before that I was on top of a small gas station breaking down an ac unit with a wrench when game crashed.

 
Olney information I can give you is that I joined my friends world it was the first time I had been in this world at the time so I made a bedroll collected some wood grass found a old house to use as my Base placed my bedroll and left as I had to go I went back on my friends world after about 4 days to be reset back to if I have never been in the world this has happened on others world's when I have been level 80 it's happened that meny times I have lost count and the bug seems to be getting worse funny thing is the game runs fine on multiplayer abart from the odd error the main bug is the resetting all the time when the game first came out we never had this bug I just have no idea what is causeing it as it can happen at random to any one in the world the Olney person that is safe is the host of the game this bug has got to be something to do with how the game saves data on a hosts ps4 I don't think the auto save helps aswell I think that is part of the problem

I wish I could help more on this problem because I love this game I just hope the team can find this bug soon as I can not play anymore all I do now is play when new update come out and test to see if the bug is sorted

Hi Jamie and anyone else looking for a workaround for this issue. My friends and I encountered this same issue and was about to abandon this game. However we did some trouble shooting and noticed that we always have this happen after not playing for a couple days. Anyway this workaround has been working for us so far.

Steps:

1) Host backs up game after every session to the cloud.

2) When the problem occurs, pull down the past save. Note: this will not work if you open the game now

3) Now the host resets their playstation clock to the day after the 7 days save.

4) Turn on the game and load up the save, all the multiplayer characters will be back with their items.

I believe it is safe to set the clock back to the current date once the game has been loaded.

Their seems to be an issue with the amount of time away from the game...I am guessing the 7 days to die really means if you don't play for 7 days, all multi-player saves are lost (except hosts). Anyway, I hope this helps everyone that has encountered this issue and also helps with fixing this horrible horrible HORRIBLE issue.

 
Ps4 character reset

Alot of my users say that when they try to reset their password.. the generated password does not work for them. I have to delete their account and let them resign up to get it working. Can anyone help me?
