Problem with steam friend connection..

Hi, we encountered an unclear issue. I open a server on my PC. The region doesn’t matter, I’ve tried everything, and changing the server's privacy didn’t help either. Everyone can join except for one friend. We’ve tried everything, from checking the integrity of files on Steam to cleaning processor registries (on both sides, mine and my friend’s). When trying to connect to the world, a blank screen appears with no interface (just the background image from the main menu, and nothing happens). We can’t figure out what the problem is; we’ve reinstalled everything, done full network checks (and the routers have been restarted as well). Nothing helps. Has anyone encountered something similar?

PS version 1.2 build 27

Sry, the problem is not solved. I tried everything, reinstalled the game, reinstalled Steam. Nothing helped.

 
Hi, I found the solution to my problem. I can't promise whether it will help you too.

Check the main menu in the options under General to see if "Cross-platform play in multiplayer mode" is set to Off. If so, then switch it on and you should see your friends' servers.
