Probably been asked before, but how to increase skill points per level

My googlefu is terrible, apparently.  If it's something I can do myself without a mod, I will.  Lets just say my tech skills leave a lot to be desired.  Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question and any help is greatly appreciated.

Do you know how to get to your 7 Days To Die folder.

I am assuming you only have one copy on your computer and it is in your steam folder. So check there. Also assuming you are on windows as you never mentioned.

I would like to mention here also that I use Notepad++ so not sure how will it will work in any other program like plain notepad.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die

In the Data folder you will see the Config folder.

In the Config folder you will see the file labeled progression.xml

Open that file with notepad++ (if you have it) and look at line 6. In that line you should see the following  ------>       skill_points_per_level="1"

Change the 1 to however many points you want per level.
