This isn't the Unreal Engine. Just exit the gyrocopter over water! You then have the fun task of picking up the submerged copter from the bottom of the water you landed in and taking it to shore with you.

I agree.  Or at least give the option to remotely unlock a vehicle if needed.  But I see no reason not to have an option to unlock for party members but locked for everyone else.

Haven't played MP in a while but didn't we have the option to add a code like doors and if someone used the correct code then it was permanently unlocked for them?
