Also, I'm sure there is community out there for this kind of thing (like a forum or a subreddit), just saying.

Obviously he is talking about Phosphorescent Ventilators for those dark moonless nights when you want to be able to see a pale ghostly image of what is helping you to breathe. Given that a good portion of the community turns their gamma up to 200% to see on dark nights in the game maybe he thought there would be some good insight into his project here.
