Potential ∞ Nth level story progression

I just posted some thoughts in the 2.0 Diary, and it actually made me think
of some of the possibilities that the near future may hold.

This is in regard to the story line progression and potential changes in game play.

Zombie AI are brutes, that come head on into the player's line of fire.
Human AI may have simple crosshair avoidance especially if they have line of sight.
That is a big difference.

Zombie AI, all except for the ones with projectiles are up close and personal. Easier
to target.
Human AI has self preservation, so they may opt for more of a tactical approach, like
sniping from cover, breaking fortifications to get to the player loot, avoiding or
destroying traps from a distance. Picture this, you are being kept occupied on one side
of your base, and you here a familiar beep beep beep, then on the other side of the base
your north wall was demolished by a timed charge.

Food spoilage may be unnecessary in the new case, Stashes of loot could be pillage and
stolen if not protected, or just destroyed in wanton mayhem.

When a player first awaken in the game, there have been plenty of conversations regarding the
time line but it is definitely not day 0. So loot stashes may be the property of the bandits.

When you loot a poi, it probably is a bandit POI claim. That would present a different set of
circumstances, plundering them could raise bandit retaliation. Bandits can set traps, draw a
horde to your area, boobytrap pois etc, rob and defile your player corpse.

They could threaten or remove the traders from play, destroy your base your stash your farm.

The loot progression thought; If they have been in country for a longer time then it would follow
that they have claimed the higher tier and more destructive loot. Natural resources for crafting
would be coveted and depleted so you would have to either bury stashes without an LCB, or fight
for your right to survive, or make alliances and do favors, as you attempt to get closer to your
main antagonist, in order to take him or them out.

Add to that the frequency of storms, as you progress through the higher tier biomes, increased
presence both zombie and human, vultures with line of sight attack mode returned, and and quadrupeds
hunting in packs of 7 plus. Meaning coyotes, dogs, wolves, bears, lions, Dires. Then the icing on the cake
is draw too much heat and here comes the screamer but instead of the standard take her out before she
screams tactic. She is bringing the horde and the storm. Progression and progression speed, tactics
would become a whole different ball game. Especially if it transgresses the border of the pine forest
the last bastion of safety.

This is not a request, but more a what if.
