Im experiencing the same and it does appear to be moving faster then it can load. Im running a i7 7820HK 32gb ram GTX1080. I see it a lot more hosting a duo game but also see it on single ever so often. Wife has a 1060 and an i5 and never sees it in my game. Its only me.I just started having this issue with a19 but don't want to got back to a18 lol.
I can say that it generally happens when I am travelling faster. If I am walking around I usually don't have it happen. The problems will start arising once I get a bike or any other transportation. It's always fixed after I exit and reload the game. I thought it might be related to nitrogen generated worlds so I've stopped using them but I still have the issue. Did full uninstall (even manually deleted leftover files) and reinstall and just as others reported it did not help.
I'm running gtx 1060 and 16 gb ram
No offense, but that CPU will bottleneck a GTX 770 on a regular game at 1080p. This is a voxel game that demands even more from the CPU. Dropping a 1080 into the system is a complete waste unless you happen to have immediate plans for upgrading the rest of the system.I'm having this problem too. Playing SP with enough resources to play the game.
Asus Sabretooth 990fx MB/AMD FX 4170 @ 4.2 GHz/G.SKILL Sniper 16 Gb mem/Geforce Gtx 1080 8Gb/860 EVO 1 Tb SSD. I am still on Win 7 OS. CPU cores run at 6 degrees celcius.
I've generated a fresh random map. I am in a new game on day 3 so I'm just walking. I tried the pois command which worked but then I fell through the terrain which hard locked up my system so completely, I could not control/alt/delete to recover. I haven't had that (not being able to recover/task manager) with any other game and I play heavily modded skyrim LE.
I didn't have this problem with A18. I have been using the A19 experimental branch when this happens. It makes the game unplayable. Even the trader has phantom blocks. I am running mods on 7D2D but nothing that changes/adds to terrain/pois/textures. Mostly just xml edits.
The GTX 1080 Armor was an upgrade from my last video card, a GTX 680 Lightning. I didn't want to step up through all the video cards so I bought the 1080. I'm still happy with the way it performs. 7D2D isn't the only game I play and I get amazing results (Arma 3 etc) over the old 680. My last upgrade was the SSD which was the final upgrade for this 7 year old MB/CPU combo. When I stop being happy, I'll upgrade the MB/CPU. I've been doing it this way since my first PC (386 DX 33), buy very good components for that tech era and keep it for years. No offense, but that CPU will bottleneck a GTX 770 on a regular game at 1080p. This is a voxel game that demands even more from the CPU. Dropping a 1080 into the system is a complete waste unless you happen to have immediate plans for upgrading the rest of the system.
Actually, now your next CPU should be an AMD. As of the 3rd gen chipsets, AMD is blowing the pants off of Intel for a change. Took them almost 20 years to turn the tables, but they have done it, and in a really huge way. You can get better performance cheaper with AMD now, and the 4th gen is going to put Intel to shame even more than the 3rd gen did. It's why I went with a 3900X instead of an i7-9900k or 10900k.Next CPU will probably be an Intel.
The marble thing is happening to my friend on my unlisted completely vanilla server. She hasn't tried playing in SP since it started and it only first started happening in 19. She recently did a file clean, so we'll see if that helps. If not *I'll* do a file clean and see if it helps. I know this is a relatively stale post, and I'll continue reading through the rest of the thread and see if there's been any new info since last month. For those having it - is it a fully vanilla server? Is it happening in SP as well? I've had multiple people complain about it but the server it happens on has server-side mods/modlets.
From my understanding, it did not happen to at least one of them in SP, but they also did not play the game much in SP from what I gathered, at that point, so I'm curious.
Particularly curious about the trader being 24-7, instead of having their usual hours.
That's not a solution. It temporarily removes the blocks but it doesn't solve the problem.at the end the solution was so simple just press F1 and type pois, if you like activate the pois again just type pois again.
